Pyongyang, August 31 (KCNA) -- The Art and Literature Publishing House in the DPRK recently published historical novel "Oh My Sky, Oh My Land" authored by Jo Chong Un to mark the 1 100th founding anniversary of Koryo (918-1392), the first unified state of the Korean nation.
The novel deals with the devotion made by Ryu Cha Dal, founder of the Ryu family, to the national unification when Paekje, late Silla and Thaebongkuk (late Koguryo), countries that existed after the period of the Three Kingdoms (early 3rd century B.C.-middle 7th century A.D.), had been merged into Koryo.
Through the life of Ryu Cha Dal, the novel implants in the minds of readers the truth that anyone can be remembered by the history if he or she made sincere dedication to the unity of fellow countrymen.
The tomb of Ryu Cha Dal and Sindo Monument were registered as state preservation relics Nos. 1777 and 1778, thanks to the culture conservation policy of the DPRK and excellently remodeled in August 2013. -0-
