DPRK Foreign Minister Meets Syrian Prime Minister

Foreign Minister of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Ri Yong Ho, who is leading a DPRK government delegation on a visit to the Syrian Arab Republic, paid a courtesy call on Imad Khamis, prime minister of the Syrian Arab Republic, and had talks with Walid Al-Muallem, deputy prime minister and minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, on Tuesday.

During the courtesy call and talks both sides referred to the bilateral friendly and cooperative relations getting stronger under the deep care of Kim Jong Un, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, and Bashar Al-Assad, president of Syria.

They also had an exchange of views and reached a consensus on the issues of developing the bilateral relations in various fields including economy, science and technology and culture, as required by the new century and the changed international situation, and on other issues of mutual concern.
