The Ryujong Technological Exchange Agency worked hard for long to develop a new fireproof paint lately.
The paint lowers the inflammability of paper, fiber, timber and other combustibles and prevents a fire from spreading rapidly.
Both a sample coated with the paint and another one coated with a common paint were put in the flames of 800 ゜C by way of an experiment. The latter was reduced to ashes in five minutes, whereas the former remained intact, its surface carbonized 5mm in depth.
The agency set itself a high goal of developing effective fireproof paints by their own efforts and with their technology. It strove energetically to determine the ideal rate of the composition of the chemical elements based on our raw materials and made new advances in producing fireproofing on a Juche footing.
Resting on their laurels no longer, the officers and researchers of the agency endeavor actively to augment the quality of the new paint further, devise multi-purpose fireproof paints ceaselessly and widely apply them to many branches of the country.
