Japan Must Pay Dearly for All Its Crimes against Korean Nation: Rodong Sinmun

Pyongyang, December 7 (KCNA) -- A research team at Seoul National University of south Korea recently opened to the public information of the crimes committed by the Japanese imperialists.

A report in the U.S. National Archives deals with what Captain of the Navy Macmillan, former governor of Guam, experienced in captivity by the imperial Japanese army.

According to it, on Jan. 3, 1942, over 70 women (sexual slaves for the Imperial Japanese Army) were in a row behind a Japanese army unit when its commander drew it up. And the women were soon taken to the barracks.

Among the recently discovered documents were a report of the U.S. Command in Guam saying that seven comfort women were sent to a U.S. civilian hospital for the medical check and treatment, and a map of the "comfort stations" for the imperial Japanese army in an island.

In this regard, Rodong Sinmun Friday comments that the recently discovered data are of great significance in proving the sexual slavery crime committed by the Japanese imperialists.

The commentary continues:

Japan's past crimes against the Korean people are the worst ones against humanity which cannot be seen in the world.

No statute of limitations is applicable to the crimes against humanity, and the bloody history can never be hided and erased.

Japan should no longer hatch a disgusting plot.

It should pay dearly for all its hideous crimes against the Korean nation. -0-
