Pak Pong Ju, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and premier of the Cabinet, inspected different units.
Looking round various places of the Pyongyang Pharmaceutical Factory, he learnt about the progress of the project, and stressed the need to enhance the responsibility and role of scientists and technicians for further perfecting the integrated manufacturing system and to ensure hygienic safety.
While inspecting the Pyongyang Dental Hygiene Products Factory, he called upon its officials and employees to make contributions to successfully materializing the intention of the Party for the wellbeing of the people by devoting their wisdom and passion to the production of various quality dentifrices, gargles and sanitary implements.
On-site consultative meetings discussed the issues that officials should conduct the organizing and commanding work and guidance over building in a responsible manner, relevant sectors should give precedence to taking measures to supply materials to the modernization project, and production plan for dental hygiene goods should be fulfilled by actively introducing new technical innovation proposals.
The premier also inspected the Posan Iron Works, the Jangsan Mine and the Ramjong Mine.
