In August 2017, Applied Physics, a prestigious international scientific journal, carried an essay.
Its judges posted on the Internet their comment that the results of the essay are correct, it is of great significance in manufacturing innovative nano devices and its contents are very simple, clear and logic.
The success of the essay is partly credited to the painstaking efforts of Pae Ji Song, a student of Kim Il Sung University. From the days of studying at Pyongyang Middle School No.1, he had a special taste for physics.
Well-known as one of top students in the university, he has been involved in the research team of nonlinear optics from 2017.
He finished his first study project which would take 4 to 5 years in a matter of two months, stealing the public limelight.
Later, he was awarded the scientific research prize for university students by winning the first place in several exhibitions and presentations, and presented several papers in the joint name of his research team to some international scientific journals.
In January 2019, the 21-year-old student was granted an academic degree.
