The Pharmaceutical Research Institute under the Academy of Medical Science has developed a new kind of bioactive insam injection, stealing the limelight of the public.
In general, insam saponin is used as a tonic for controlling the immunity of human body, protecting the cardiovascular system, preventing and treating the endocrine and metabolic diseases, and relieving physical fatigue.
Researchers of the institute paid attention to developing a new injection which is capable of maximizing the pharmacological action of Kaesong Koryo insam saponin. They applied a method of hydrolysing insam saponin to transform it into a new element involving Ginsenoside CK, Rh2 and Rg3, and prepared an intravenous injection by making use of it.
This injection is very efficacious in improving the decreased immunity caused by several reasons, including various cancer diseases, debility after surgical operation and illness, and bleeding.
Scores of pharmacological experiments and clinical studies proved that its action of inhibiting the propagation of cancerous cells, anti-cancer action and immunity control action are 2 to 3 times better than other medicines whose main ingredient is insam saponin.
“It is a good medicine, indeed. I recovered completely from internal diseases by having this injection. Now, I am full of energy and in good health. Everyone who used the injection is of the same opinion with me,” said Kim Tal Su, a 56-year-old farmer living in Samsok District, Pyongyang.
The injection was appreciated as one of the best items in the National Exhibition of Sci-Tech Achievements in Public Health-2018.
