A meeting and a book and photo exhibition took place in Mexico and seminars in Russia and the Czech Republic between March 12 and 23 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (Day of the Sun).

The events were attended by personages of various political parties and organizations and peoples in those countries.

Jesus Antonio Carlos Hernandez, general secretary of the Central Committee of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico, praised Kim Il Sung for founding the Juche idea to indicate the way to be followed by the world progressives and making immortal contribution to the building of a regular army.

L. A. Kobuizov, first secretary of the Amur Regional Branch Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, said that Kim Il Sung laid the firm foundation for defending the sovereignty of the DPRK and achieving its prosperity.

Noting that Chairman Kim Jong Il firmly defended socialist Korea founded by the President and led it to victory, he said that thanks to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, the DPRK fully demonstrates its might as an invincible power which no one dares provoke.

Jozef Servista, chairman of the Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association who is deputy general secretary of the Central Committee of the Czechoslovak Communist Party and chairman of the Czech Group for the Study and Materialization of the Juche Idea, said that Kim Il Sung is the eternal leader of the Korean people who built and developed the Party, state and army in the DPRK on the basis of the immortal Juche idea.

The socialist cause of Korea pioneered by Kim Il Sung and advanced by Kim Jong Il is being successfully carried forward by Kim Jong Un, he said.

He said that the Korean people will achieve greater successes in building a powerful socialist country under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.
