Performance given by Vietnamese state art troupe

The Party and the government of Vietnam attached great significance to the performance of the state art troupe consisting of artistes including international concours winners in Pyongyang and made sincere efforts for it.
Ri Su Yong, member of the Political Bureau and vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials concerned met and exchanged greetings with leading members of the Vietnamese state art troupe and the Vietnamese ambassador to the DPRK at the theatre.
Among the audience were creators, artistes and teachers of the field of culture and art in Pyongyang, foreign diplomatic envoys and representatives of international bodies and members of foreign embassies in Pyongyang.
The Vietnamese artistes put on the stage songs, instrumental music and dances prepared by them with sincerity.
The performers sang of their reverence for the leaders of the elder generation of the two countries in male solo "Song of Loyalty", female solo "Attraction" and male trio "Ho Chi Minh, the most beautiful name".
Mixed duet "Ardent Desire" singing in reverence for Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un touched a chord with the audience.
Put on the stage were music and dance pieces dealing with culture, national emotion and customs of the Vietnamese people and those loved by the Korean people, and world famous songs.
The performance was acclaimed by the audience.
The audience presented bouquets to the Vietnamese artistes in congratulation of their successful performance.
The second-day performance of the Vietnamese state art troupe in Pyongyang was given at the Mansudae Art Theatre on Monday.
Among the audience were Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, first vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, Pak Kwang Ho, member of the Political Bureau and vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Jon Kwang Ho, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Pak Chun Nam, minister of Culture, and creators, artistes, teachers, youth and students in the field of culture and art in Pyongyang.
Choe Ryong Hae met and had a talk with leading members of the Vietnamese state art troupe and the Vietnamese ambassador to the DPRK before seeing the performance.
Colorful numbers including the songs which were put on the stage to welcome Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un's visit to Vietnam deeply moved the audience.
Solos "Sing, Fork to Mangyongdae" and "Attraction", mixed duet "Ardent Desire" and other numbers were acclaimed by the audience.
Also put on the stage were numbers showing the patriotic spirit of the Vietnamese people which was displayed in the resistance war for freedom and independence of the nation and in building socialism.
At the end of the performance a floral basket was conveyed to the performers.
Choe Ryong Hae mounted the stage to exchange greetings with leading members and artistes of the art troupe to congratulate them on their successful performance.
