Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and supreme commander of the Armed Forces of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, together with his wife Ri Sol Ju Tuesday inspected the Sinchang Fish Farm.
Looking round a newly built room for education in revolutionary history, Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un said it is necessary to make a profound education in greatness through the leadership history of Chairman Kim Jong Il associated with the fish farm to add eternal luster to the exploits of him who laid a firm foundation for fish farming and opened its bright future.
He was told by officials of the fish farm about the implementation of the on-the-spot guidance task and toured fish ponds, fish spawn hatching place and others to learn in detail about the management and operation of the fish farm.
Noting that the People's Army did a lot of work for putting the fishing science and technology of the country on a high level, he said the whole country should follow the example of the People's Army in carrying through the Party's policy of fish farming and certainly materialize the desire of Kim Jong Il who worked heart and soul to provide the people and servicepersons of the People's Army with abundance of tasty and nutritious fish.
He asked the officials and employees of the fish farm to set a higher goal and make a radical development in fish production so as to supply more fish to the public catering in the capital city and servicepersons true to Kim Jong Il's behests.
He said that the Sinchang Fish Farm should live up to the Party's trust and expectation to continue to take the lead in putting fish farming on a Juche, scientific, modern, industrial and intensive basis and perform the mission and role as a standard fish farm showing the development of the fish farming technology of the country, a model and an education unit in developing the fish farming of the country.
He pinpointed the problems to be overcome in the overall fish farming of the country and gave important instructions to bring about a revolutionary turn in the fish farming field.
He was accompanied by Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, first vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, Kim Phyong Hae, O Su Yong, Jo Yong Won and other leading officials of the C.C., WPK.
