President Kim Il Sung Remembered in India

Pyongyang, July 12 (KCNA) -- Several organisations and institutions of India held a remembrance meeting, book and photo exhibition and film show from July 2 to 6 on the threshold of the 25th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung.
Attending the events were personages of political and social circles and masses of India.
The secretary of the National Council of the Communist Party of India who is chairman of the All India Indo-Korean Friendship Association, a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) and the secretary of the Central Committee of the All-India Forward Bloc said that the whole life of Kim Il Sung is the one of a great revolutionary and outstanding leader who made great contributions to the people's happiness, the country's independent and peaceful reunification and global independence.
The chairman of the Indian Society for the Study of Works of Kim Jong Il and other speakers lauded Kim Il Sung as the outstanding elder statesman who led global independence under the uplifted banner of independence against imperialism and peerless sage who moved the world with his warm human love and noble virtues.
The secretary general of the Indian Youth Group for the Study of Works of Comrade Kim Il Sung said that the history of the President invariably continues in the DPRK as he was possessed of the noblest personality.
The chairman of the Juche Philosophy Study Committee of India stressed that the President is still alive in the hearts of the Korean people as his idea is very great.
Messages to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un were adopted at the events. -0-
