While looking at the sacred Flag of the Supreme Commander fluttering in the air we are warmly reminded that Kim Jong Un, Supreme Commander of the armed forces of the DPRK, has strengthened our revolutionary armed forces into indestructible militant ranks further and maximized the military strength of the country.
We cannot forget his historic arduous march toward Mt Osong. He climbed it up passing by a precipitous cliff of giddy height and driving along a steep mountain path dotted with 152 turns to visit a frontline unit.
He then proceeded to make for an outpost on the Kkachil Peak.
The officials and soldiers barred his passage in tears and repeatedly implored him to give up. But he said in a cavernous voice: “I go to the outpost to encourage its soldiers and pose with them for a photo session….”
The soldiers of the outpost were very much surprised and pleased that Kim Jong Un visited them too unexpectedly, and wept to see him. He did them a kindness and said that at their back they had roads leading to their home towns and villages jnhabited by their dear parents, brothers and sisters and that he was always with them. They got firmly determined to grip their revolutionary rifles and sacrifice their blood to defend the Party, the leader, the country and the people.
Not only the Kkachil Peak but also the Jangjae and Mu Islands lying in waters along the southwest front and the Cho Island like an indestructible battleship on the West Sea of Korea bear good witness to the history of the strengthening of our revolutionary forces and the acquisition of our military power.
While inspecting frontline units he inspires the men and officers of the KPA with wisdom and courage and the people with confidence in victory. While he takes thunderous steps forward toward the front our revolutionary armed forces have been able to have close ties of kinship with him, be imbued with Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and immutable faith and reliably defend and support the revolutionary cause of the Party.
