The number of animals is increasing in the Central Zoo.

The German shepherd sent by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, gave birth to a baby in February. The ring-tailed lemur presented to President Kim Il Sung by the ex-president of Madagascar dropped six babies in early March.

The vervet monkey presented to President Kim Il Sung by the ex-president of Ethiopia and the European horse presented to Chairman Kim Jong Il by Chinese businessmen dropped their babies.

Besides, over 80 babies have been added to the number of 21 kinds of gift animals, including the European wild pig, giraffe, deer and spotted regianini.
