Stop to payment for upkeep of US troops in s. Korea demanded

The "People for Achieving Peace and Reunification" in south Korea held a press conference before Kwanghwamun in Seoul on Dec 3 to call for a stop to the negotiations for a share of the upkeep of the US forces in south Korea and abrogation of the agreement on the share, according to south Korean internet paper Jaju Sibo.

The speakers said that south Korean people are enraged at the US which is putting pressure on south Korea to bear the expenses for families of US forces in south Korea, deployment of strategic assets and rotation deployment.
