In May 2015 Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un sat together with officials and gave them precious instructions to work with the revolutionary spirit of Paektu and the spirit of its blizzards graven on their hearts.
That day he said that it was of special importance in acquiring and applying the spirits for officials to follow the living examples of the anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters who upheld the ideas and cause of President Kim Il Sung, their then commander, with their lives. He continued:
“As for their principal ideological and spiritual quality, the anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters were firmly confident that the revolution could be won only when they followed Commander Kim Il Sung, regarded his ideas and lines as an absolute truth, braved even death and served as human bombs without the slightest hesitation to execute his orders and tried their hardest to learn after his noble personality with the attitude and viewpoint of his true soldiers….”
The hearts of the officials were touched solemnly.
After a while Kim Jong Un said that all officials should not confine themselves only to talking about the revolutionary traditions of our Party but emulate the anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters in their indomitable revolutionary spirit and fighting morale, thus thoroughly applying them in and out of work.
In the final analysis he expected that our officials would always live and work like the anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters everywhere they were.
