Chongryon Officials Meet to Wage Brisker Patriotic Movement

Pyongyang, April 2 (KCNA) -- Officials of the Osaka Prefectural Headquarters and branches of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) held a meeting at the Korean Hall in Osaka on March 27 to wage a more vigorous patriotic movement in keeping with the requirements of the prevailing situation.

Present at the meeting were Ho Jong Man, chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, Pak Ku Ho,?vice-chairman and director of the Organization Department of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee,?Pu Yong Uk, chairman of the Osaka Prefectural Headquarters of Chongryon, and other officials of the Osaka Prefectural Headquarters and branches.

Ho Jong Man made a speech.

Though the situation gets crucial and complicated, the Osaka Prefectural Headquarters should take the lead in further speeding up the struggle for attaining the high goal and to this end enhance its leading role, holding fast to ideology with tight attitude, he stressed.

Building up the chapters and branches of the headquarters to be reliable patriotic organizations is a shortcut to consolidating it as powerful overseas compatriots' organization and thus actively coping with the present situation.

Ho Jong Man called for having firm ideological readiness, bringing about a turn in the patriotic movement without fail and thus making a pleasing report to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

Pu Yong Uk, chairman of the Osaka Prefectural Headquarters, in his speech pointed out that he would drastically strengthen the chapters and branches and consolidate the headquarters as firm as a rock to cope with the prevailing grave situation.
