Kim Jae Ryong, Premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea(DPRK), sent a message of condolence to Thongloun Sisoulith, Prime Minister of Lao People’s Democratic Republic, upon the demise of former Prime Minister Sisavath Keobounphanh, on Wednesday
Expressing deep condolences to the Lao people and the bereaved family of the deceased, the message said that Sisavath Keobounphanh was a prominent state political activist who actively devoted himself to the victory of the socialist cause in Laos and made contribution to the expansion and development of the bilateral relations of friendship and cooperation with long history and tradition in various fields.
The message stressed that although Sisavath Keobounphanh passed away, the feats he performed for the prosperity of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and the development of the friendly relations between the two countries will remain long in the hearts of the people.
