Pyongyang, 22 de mayo (ACNC) -- La ONU definio el 22 de mayo de cada ano como Dia Internacional de Biodiversidad a fin de despertar en la sociedad y la gente la atencion a la proteccion de biodiversidad.
Asi senala el diario Rodong Sinmun en un articulo individual de hoy y continua:
El mundo presenta la proteccion de biodiversidad y su uso sostenible como una de las importantes tareas a cumplir en el siglo XXI por toda la humanidad.
El tema de la efemeride de este ano es "Hay nuestra solucion en la naturaleza" cuyo objetivo reside en dar a conocer a las personas que la conservacion de biodiversidad es el remedio para superar innumerables desafios al desarrollo sostenible.
Hoy en dia, se desarrolla en Corea una energica campana nacional de repoblacion forestal.
Como parte de ella, se liberan en los montes y mares los animales utiles para enriquecer la biodiversidad.
Se despliegan otras actividades como registrar como zonas de proteccion de biosfera mundial los montes Paektu, Kuwol, Myohyang, Chilbo y Kumgang, que juegan importante rol en ese trabajo, y como tierras humedas internacionales las zonas protegidas de aves migratorias de Mundok y Rason e investigar periodicamente los puntos claves para la biodiversidad.
La RPDC seguira cumpliendo sinceramente su deber de signataria del Acuerdo de Biodiversidad.
