The National Seminar of the Juche Idea for “Independent Development and Regional Cooperation” was held in Kampala, Uganda on October 18, 2019.
Participated were the people and personalities from several organizations including the Ugandan National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Uganda-DPRK Friendship Association.
Mayambala Lawrence, chairman of the Ugandan National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea gave a report at the seminar.
He mentioned that the African countries kept advancing along the road they had chosen by rejecting all imperialist maneuvers of domination and intervention and holding independence.
He said that the study and dissemination of the Juche idea presents itself as a very important issue in the African people’s struggle for true development of society.
He introduced the successes achieved in studying and disseminating the Juche idea in various forms and methods and underlined concrete ways and means of furthering their activities.
The speakers including Vice-chairman Daniel Rugarama of the National Committee said that they came to realize better about the vitality of the Juche idea through the visit to the DPRK, adding that the Korean people who are under the leadership of His Excellency Kim Jong Un achieved innovative successes in several fields.
They said that it is important to thoroughly apply the Juche idea in order to build a new independent society and it is possible to put an end to imperialist maneuvers of domination only when the people are awakened and united under the banner of self-reliance.
