Trust is precious, indeed, in the people’s life and social development.

A man, who lives while enjoying the trust of the people and the collective, feels pride and delight of life and a society where people live while forming social relations based on the mutual trust is the sound one with development potentiality.

For a revolutionary party which leads broad masses of the people to build a paradise, people’s trust in and support to the party is an important criterion which determines existence of the party and judges value of the party.

Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un said.

“The Workers’ Party of Korea and the government of the Republic will never cease to struggle and advance until achieving the final victory of the revolutionary cause of Juche by relying on the trust and strength of the people, but surely hasten the future of a powerful socialist country where all the people lead a dignified and happy life.”

The Workers’ Party of Korea is a great Party which enjoys absolute support and trust of the people and an invincible revolutionary Party that relied on the inexhaustible strength of the people.

Trust of the people in the WPK is infinite and firm.

The DPRK people entrust their life and living, destiny and future to the Party.

As they have trust in the Party, the Korean people braved unprecedented trials and difficulties in an optimistic and militant manner, and they have become the people of an independent, dignified and powerful country.

Following is an anecdote about the DPRK people’s trust in the Party which recorded in the history of protracted and arduous struggle of the WPK.

In August 2015, typhoon and tidal wave hit Rason area in the northern part of the DPRK. Numerous buildings had to be newly constructed including thousands of dwelling houses. As it had been before, the people who lost their dwelling houses believed that the Party and the state would build new dwelling houses for them immediately. The inhabitant in the flood-hit district had delight and new hope that misfortune would be turned into blessings, and at the same time they were very sorry because they would be burdens of the Party and the state. It was that time when some people pulled down their houses that could possibly be repaired. Both the people who lost their dwelling houses and the officials were indignant over them. They regarded them as the ones with no conscience and dignity because they pulled down their houses in such a situation that many dwelling houses should be newly built.

When he gave a field guidance to rehabilitation site in order to take measures to build new dwelling houses for the people in the flood-hit district as soon as possible, Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un was told about it. He told not to make question of them. He said… They would not do so if they had no trust in the Party. The people’s trust in the Party is most precious. The people’s trust is a treasure of all treasures. It is necessary to have the view that nothing is more valuable than the people’s trust and pay up the people’s trust in the spirit of making selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people.

The Supreme Leader continued… Rehabilitation including building and repairing dwelling houses and arranging the area should be completed at a breath through speed campaign, three-dimensional war formula and finish-one-by-one tactics. The WPK is a party that serves the people and struggles to provide the people with happier and more affluent life. Rehabilitation of Rason City is not a simple project of removing aftereffects of natural disaster but the sacred struggle to repay the people’s trust in the Party.

The trust in the Party by the Korean people, who entrust their destiny and future entirely to the Party while calling the Party a motherly party, is defended by devotion of the Supreme Leader.

Saying that revolution itself is to translate love for the people into reality, President Kim Il Sung who is the founder of the WPK and the founding father of socialist Korea devoted his whole life for the sake of the people.

The President regarded the people as the heaven and their demand as trust in him and the basic principle of his life and always visited farms, factories and fishing stations to show warmer affection to the people and provide them with happier life.

Saying that he should pluck even a star from the sky and bring a flower into bloom even on a rock if this is desired by the people, Chairman Kim Jong Il, the eternal General Secretary of the WPK, made self-sacrificing devotion for prosperity of the country and happiness of the people.

Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un makes devoted efforts to defend the people’s trust in him.

In order to secure peace and safety of the Korean peninsula, the region and the world, the Supreme Leader provided powerful war deterrent with his speculation and devotion day and night. The Supreme Leader has paid up the trust of the people, who are desirous of lasting peace on their land without a gunshot, with devotion for the country and people.

The Supreme Leader visited construction sites irrespective rainy or snowy days and saw that the creations for the people’s delight, laughter and happiness were built in large numbers in a short span of time. The Supreme Leader even sat on amusement facilities and ski lifts on a trial running.

The Supreme Leader thinks deeply for creations and changes and brings his plans into realities in order to meet the people’s desire for abundant and cultured life of high level and repay the people’s trust in the WPK.

The people’s trust in the Party is defended invariably as they have the Supreme Leader who makes devoted and faithful efforts for the good of the people while keeping in mind the slogan “Everything for the people, everything by relying on them!”

Thanks to the Supreme Leader’s devoted efforts for the people’s well-being and happiness, the people’s trust in the WPK get firmer and, the bigger the people’s trust in the Party becomes, the more energy and labour the Supreme Leader will make.
