Kwon Jong Gun, Director of the Department for the US Affairs of the DPRK Ministry of Foreign Affairs, gave a statement to media on the 7th.
The statement reads.
As regards the "rumour about the DPRK-US summit talks" heard untimely, our First Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs clarified a clear stand through a press statement some time ago.
The press statement touched on a meddlesome man who expressed his will for arbitration of the DPRK-US summit talks again untimely.
As a matter of fact, our stand was so clear enough to understand easily even without examining carefully because of the same language as ours.
This notwithstanding, however, south Korea is still saying absurd words that there is no change in their efforts to arbitrate the DPRK-US summit talks. Maybe it seems to be dull of hearing or be accustomed to telling what it wants.
Moreover, some guys interpret in a selfish way that the press statement of our First Vice-Foreign Minister is a "message demanding action of the United States" and a "certain demand for some more concession".
It is ridiculous that they are worrying about how to scald their lips in another man's pottage, as if it is a so-called "solution" to straighten out the DPRK-US relations which get more complex.
Now it seems to be the time to stop meddling in others' affairs, but maybe there are no medicine and prescription to shake off their bad habit.
As they talk bosh untimely so frequently, the inter-Korean relations will go from bad to worse.
It is a great pity to see them. If they are eager to be an "arbitrator" and try, let them do it.
We will wait and see if they get any result from their efforts or suffer a total loss and invite only derision.
We make clear once again that we have no idea to sit face to face with the Americans.
