All the people and service personnel of the People's Army across the country have commemorated President Kim Il Sung on July 8, the greatest national memorial day.
The national flag was hoisted at half-mast in different parts of the country on the occasion.

Documentary films dealing with the great personality of the President, the founder of socialist Korea and the father of the Korean nation, and his undying revolutionary feats were aired.
Watching such documentary films as "Our Leader" and "Finding Himself among the People All His Life", officials, Party members, working people and service personnel recollected with deep emotion the great exploits that the President had performed by dedicating himself to the people's everlasting happiness and the country's prosperity, always finding himself among the people.
