UK’s Behaviour
A spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK gave the following answer to a question put by KCNA on July 11 with regard to the release by the United Kingdom of so-called "Global Human Rights Sanctions Regulations-2020" where it pointed its fingers at the DPRK and several other countries.
The UK, a puppet of the United States, committed a provocation of designating our Ministry of State Security and Ministry of Public Security as its first targets of sanctions through the "UK's first autonomous human rights sanction regime" issued on July 6, all the contents of which are based on fabrications provided by the scum of " defectors from the DPRK".
Its current act is a politically-motivated scheme which follows in the footsteps of the US policy hostile towards the DPRK. Its clear evidence is that the US State Department stated its welcome position to it the following day.
The UK, not being content with its policy to toe the US line, is hell-bent on committing a brazen-faced act of putting the internal security organs of a country on the list of its sanctions.
We resolutely condemn and reject the UK’s designation of our organs in charge of State security as the targets of sanctions, as it constitutes a blatant interference in the internal affairs of our State.
Now that it withdrew from the EU by claiming its "identity", the UK should not blindly hang on to the coattails of the US but behave itself on its own viewpoint.
The UK will be surely forced to pay the price commensurate to its behaviour.
