The meeting of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea held on April 11, 2020 adopted the joint resolution of the Central Committee of the WPK, the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and the Cabinet of the DPRK on taking more thorough-going national measures to protect the people’s life and safety from the pandemic disease.
The anti-epidemic performances are intensified as the Party-wide, country-wide and society-wide concern to implement the joint resolution adopted at the Meeting of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK.
True to the spirit of the meeting of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK, the Non-standing Central Public Health Guidance Committee takes measures to further strengthen the state emergency anti-epidemic system till the virus infected disease can be controlled on the worldwide scale.
Under the unified control of the central emergency anti-epidemic headquarters, the emergency anti-epidemic headquarters at all levels pay attention to the work of maintaining the stable anti-epidemic state on the principle of unconditionally subordinating everything to safety of the people’s health and life.
Borders, territorial air and waters have been completely blocked, according to which they re-examine once again whether there is any space of inroad of epidemic disease and take preemptive measures lest they should miss anything trifle.
They make check-up, inspection, quarantine and disinfection of passengers and freights which enter the country and provide with materials needed for emergency anti-epidemic performances.
