Pyongyang, July 30 (KCNA) -- Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, first vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, acquainted himself with the emergency anti-epidemic work in Kaesong City.
As part of the efforts to implement the decision made at the emergency enlarged meeting of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Party, Choe Ryong Hae made rounds of anti-epidemic checkpoints urgently established in the vicinity of the city and learnt in detail about the anti-epidemic work and supply of materials.
He called for strictly performing disinfection and quarantine inspection in accordance with the anti-epidemic requirements under the situation that materials including foodstuff and medicine necessary for the living of inhabitants are intensively sent to the city, thanks to the measure taken by the Party and the state.
The field consultative meeting discussed the matter to let officials and members involved in the anti-epidemic work carry out the directions and assignments of the Party Central Committee most correctly with the boundless loyalty to the Party, sense of responsibility and devotion. It also discussed the matter to take thoroughgoing and safe measures through close cooperation among relevant institutions.
