Officials and workers of the General Bureau of Pleasure Park in the DPRK are intensifying the anti-epidemic watch over the animals.
The General Bureau has made the spread of the malignant virus by animals a fait accompli and is making thoroughgoing preparations to immediately cope with any trifling abnormal symptoms in case they occur in the animals at the Central Zoo and its affiliated units.
The Central Zoo has laid its firm foundation for production of disinfectant and is strictly carrying on the disinfection according to the demand of the anti-epidemic rules.
It keeps the air conditioners and other equipment under normal condition in order to ensure the living conditions on the anti-epidemic standard lest the contaminated air and the pathogenic microorganism should infiltrate into the animal sheds and water tanks.
It has also established the well-organized system for examining the animals and supplied them with a lot of supplementary feeds including nutritive and mineral feeds to enhance their nutrition and immunity. Thus, preemptive anti-epidemic measures to prevent the infiltration of the virus have been taken.
The Chongjin and Hamhung Zoos are watching the animals as demanded by the anti-epidemic rules. They are doing proper work to completely blockade all the passages and spaces leading to inflow of disease.
