Upon receipt of the decision of the Sixth Plenary Meeting of the Seventh Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea to convene the Eighth Congress of the WPK, youth league officials and other young people in our province are filled with boundless pride and self-confidence.
With deep insight into the requirements of the developing revolution and the changed situation, Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un clarified his stand to hold the Eighth Congress of the Party. He is the great leader and benevolent father who devotes himself to putting the overall Party and state activities on a new rising track and achieving the country’s prosperity and people’s well-being.
He said in the Sixth Plenary Meeting of the Seventh Central Committee of the WPK that the Eighth Congress of the WPK should become a congress of struggle, a working congress, and a congress making a comprehensive review of Party work.
I will scrupulously organize the political work so that the youth league officials and other young people in our province can admirably play their role as vanguard and shock force in the ongoing struggle.
I will conduct brisk activities to implant the idea and spirit of the recent plenary meeting in the city and county youth league organizations in the province and make sure that they carefully work out work programme in detail and thoroughly carried them out without conditions, so that all the youth league officials and other young people in the province can celebrate the Eighth Congress of the WPK with a high sense of political enthusiasm and brilliant labour achievements.
