Kim Tok Hun, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and Premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, made a field survey of the agricultural work in South Hwanghae Province including Anak, Sinchon and Jaeryong Counties.
Looking round the fields of several farms including the Oguk Cooperative Farm in Anak County and the Saegil Cooperative Farm in Sinchon County, he stressed the need to conclude good farming this significant year marking the 75th founding anniversary of the WPK.
He said the rice harvesters and threshers should be repaired and maintained properly to raise the proportion of mechanization in harvesting and the Haeju Tractor Accessories Factory should produce and supply efficient farm machines and accessories satisfactorily.
Kim Tok Hun underlined some issues on increasing the unit-area yield at the Samjigang and Kanggyo Cooperative Farms in Jaeryong County.
Going round the sites for building houses in Togam-dong and the seat of Rimhan-ri, Phanmun District of Kaesong City, he discussed issues on intensifying the anti-epidemic work, guiding the housing construction at the final stage with responsibility and supplying materials at the relevant units in time, before taking measures.
