Different sectors of the national economy have achieved their major targets for the first 10 days of the 80-day campaign.
The Kim Chaek and Hwanghae iron and steel complexes, the Chollima Steel Complex and other iron production bases across the country have exceeded their pig iron and steel production targets.
The Hungnam Electrode Factory opened up excellent prospects for increasing output while the Unnyul and Jaeryong mines carried out their daily production plans over 1.2 times on average.
The Hungnam Fertilizer Complex increased the production by more than half.
The February 8 Vinalon Complex turned out several kinds of chemical goods and the Namhung Youth Chemical Complex and the general salt production enterprise overfulfilled their plans.
The Pyongyang and Pukchang thermal power complexes and the Suphung and Jangjingang power stations achieved positive results in electricity output every day.
The Pukchang Area Youth Coal-mining Complex and Tukjang Area Coal-mining Complex, among others, carried out their production plans at 102 percent.
The December 5 Youth Mine and Sijung Mine exceeded their mineral production targets, while the Phungnyon, Jungsan and Yongyu mines carried out their production plans over 1.3 times every day.
The Taean Heavy Machine Complex raised the production plan implementation rate by half in the production of major power generation facilities, the Pyongyang General Electric Cable Factory 326 and Kyongsong Insulator Factory overfulfilled their daily production quotas by 5 and 3 percent respectively and the Ryangchaek and Pyongyang bearing factories produced large quantities of bearings.
The Ministry of Railways overfulfilled the transportation plan for ten days by 2 percent.
In that period, the amount of freight transport to rehabilitation sites was boosted and the freight traffic to different economic sectors was increased day by day.
The ports of Wonsan and Hungnam, among others, exceeded their transport targets by 20 percent.
The harvesting was finished across the country as of October 20.
The Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill, Sinuiju Textile Mill and Hamhung Woolen Textile Mill overfulfilled the cotton yarn and cloth production plans, while the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Silk Mill and Hamhung Silk Mill produced more silk yarn than planned.
The Songyo and Aeguk knitwear factories produced good results in production.
