Pyongyang, October 26 (KCNA) -- Greater efforts should be directed to rousing the masses to give full play to the spiritual strength so as to make intense preparations for the forthcoming 8th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea in the period of a leap in the revolution on the basis of the great victory gained with much effort in the arduous struggle, says Rodong Sinmun in an article on Monday.
The mother of miracles is the spiritual strength of the masses, and the key to ushering in a new golden age in the building of a powerful socialist country is to rouse the masses to action, the article says, and goes on:
The important thing in enlisting the spiritual strength of the masses is to make the ideological work more effective.
In order to conduct an effective ideological education just in the way that one would tell a thirsty person where he or she can find water to drink, it is necessary to explain to the masses, in a logical and convincing way, things they are eager to know and hear, on the basis of the Party's policies.
If our officials give free rein to the spiritual strength of the masses, the ongoing campaign will prove to be progress for making a great strategic offensive on the basis of the successes which have been made so far with much effort and if not, it will prove to be a failure and a step backward.
It's not easy to inspire various people to display their spiritual strength.
All the officials should greet the 8th Congress of the WPK successfully by enlisting the spiritual strength of the masses. By doing so, they should fulfill their responsibilities and duties as befits leading members of the revolution. -0-
