In the textile industry more than 750 weavers have hit their production targets during the 5-year strategy for national economic development.
The workers of the textile industry strove energetically to attain the goals of the 5-year strategy from its first year and topped their national economic plans more than twice and thrice every year. Above all, many of them overfulfilled their plans for a decade, 15 years and 18 ones at most.
Ri Un Jong, throwster of a cop-winding workshop of the General Chemical Fiber Spinning Workshop of the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill, successfully executed her plan for 18 years during the 5-year strategy.
Upward of 80 workers of the Sariwon Textile Mill hit their 5-year strategic targets and 91 weavers followed suit at the Sinuiju Textile Mill. The case is similar to 48 workers at the Hamhung Woolen Mill.
The weavers have owed successes in their work for the 5-year strategy to the hardworking repairers of their textile mills.
