Kim Jong Un , Chairman of the Workers’ Party of Korea(WPK) and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea(DPRK), received a reply message from Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China(CPC) and President of the People’s Republic of China(PRC), on October 24.

Xi Jinping in the message expressed his heartfelt thanks to Kim Jong Un for sending a sincere and passionate message of greetings on the occasion of the 71st founding anniversary of the PRC.

The message said that the CPC has united and led the peoples of all the ethnic groups in the country and made strenuous efforts in one mind and with one will for 71 years since the foundation of new China and thus registered great successes attracting the attention of the world.

The message noted that adhering to the principle of attaching importance to the people and their life, the CPC has achieved important strategic successes in a nationwide anti-epidemic struggle against COVID-19 which suddenly broke out this year.

China and the DPRK are the friendly neighbors connected by the same mountain and rivers, and the traditional friendship between the two countries is being further consolidated with the lapse of time, the message said.

It said: I and Comrade Chairman have maintained close and deep communication in recent years and led the relations between the two Parties and the two countries into entering a new historic period.

The message noted that the world is witnessing a great rapid change unprecedented in 100 years.

The message said that China is willing to develop the traditional China-DPRK friendship together with the Korean comrades through generations, to provide the two countries and their peoples with better welfare and to propel the regional peace, stability and development.

Recently, the Korean people celebrated the 75th founding anniversary of the WPK with splendor, the message said, adding that the WPK has achieved great successes in the cause of socialist construction by rallying the people and leading them for 75 years.

The message expressed the belief that the Korean people would implement the new strategic line and achieve rich successes without fail in the development and construction of the state under the firm leadership of the Central Committee of the WPK led by Kim Jong Un and thus greet the Eighth Congress of the WPK with victory.

It wished Kim Jong Un good health and hoped that everything would go well.

It also wished the DPRK prosperity and the Korean people happiness and welfare.
