A meeting of the combatants of the divisions of Party members from the capital city was held at the Plaza of the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, the sacred sanctuary of Juche, on November 20 to make a report of loyalty to great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il .

The platform was taken by Pak Pong Ju, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the WPK Central Committee, Kim Yong Hwan, chairman of the Pyongyang Mun Committee of the WPK, commanding officials and exemplary combatants of the divisions of Party members from the capital city and leading officials of Party and administrative organs in Pyongyang.

All the participants made a bow to the portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il .

Commander Choe Hwi of Division No.1 of Party Members of the Capital City, member of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee and vice-chairman of the WPK Central Committee, made a report of loyalty to the great leaders.

The reporter presented the report of victory and loyalty to Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il , eternal leaders of our Party and people and the Sun of Juche, that the Party members from the capital city successfully carried out the militant duty given by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un .

He said that despite harsh conditions and environment, all combatants of the divisions waged a loyal offensive, a fierce 24-7 struggle and a resolute lightning campaign to build single-story houses and low-story apartments for hundreds of families and restore roads and rivers strong enough to stand any flood, with a pledge of faith to realize the noble plan of the Party Central Committee even at the cost of their lives.

He continued that the combatants of the divisions of Party members from the capital city have been able to give full play to their might as a special detachment of the Party Central Committee as there were the great trust and loving care shown by Kim Jong Un as he was the first to visit the distant and dangerous disaster-hit areas, sent an open letter, extended militant encouragement and thanks to them on the high podium where he was delivering a speech in the military parade for celebrating the 75th founding anniversary of the WPK and looked after them all the time.

Pak Pong Ju, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the WPK Central Committee, made a congratulatory speech.

Upon authorization of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un , he, in the name of the Party Central Committee, warmly congratulated all the combatants of the divisions who displayed the honour of the divisions of elite Party members from the capital city and made the report of victory and loyalty to Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il who are preserved in their lifetime appearance in the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun.

The combatants of the divisions are vanguard fighters and triumphant heroes who recorded a proud page in the glorious history of the Party and showed in practice how the Party members have to devotedly defend the Party Central Committee, he stressed.

He called on them to strikingly demonstrate the spirit of continued innovation and advance at their revolutionary posts and thus further glorify their honour as the Party members of the capital city in which the Party Central Committee has placed the greatest trust in the revolutionary advance toward the 8th Congress of the WPK.

A letter of pledge to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
