Pyongyang, January 11 (KCNA) -- Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un received congratulatory messages and letters from different countries on the occasion of the 8th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

They are the secretary general of the Malaysian Chinese Association, the general secretary of the Central Committee of the Syrian Communist Party, the general secretary of the Socialist Unionist Party of Syria, the general secretary of the PKP-1930, the national leader and the general secretary of the Revolutionary Communist Party of Britain (Marxist-Leninist), the general secretary and the international secretary of the Central Committee of the New Yugoslav Communist Party, the general secretary of the Unified Communist Party of Italy, the secretary general of the African National Congress of South Africa, the general secretary of the Basotho National Party of Lesotho, the general secretary of the Congolese Party of Labour, the chairman of the Ugandan National Executive Committee of the Pan-African Movement, the general secretary of the Communist Party of Ecuador, the president of the Communist Party of Australia and the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Mexico.

Also among them are the vice-president of the Brazilian Communist Party, the president of the International Group of Italy, the chairman of the Afro-Asian People's Solidarity Organization, a councilor of the European Society for the Study of the Juche Idea, the secretary general of the African Regional Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, the secretary general of the International Liaison Committee for Reunification and Peace in Korea and other personages of the political, social and economic circles in China, Russia, Malaysia, Germany, the UK, Italy, Spain, Tunisia, Uganda, Ethiopia and Venezuela and representatives of groups for the study of the Juche idea, organizations for supporting Korea's reunification and friendship organizations.

The chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Bangladesh, the chairman of the Central Executive Committee of the Bangladesh National Socialist Party, the president of the Bangladesh People's League and the National Executive Committee of the Workers' Party of Mexico sent congratulatory messages to the 8th Congress of the WPK.
