Rodong Sinmun Calls for Upholding Ideals of "The People Are God", Single-minded Unity and Self-reliance

Pyongyang, January 22 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun on Friday says in an editorial that the ideals of "The people are God", single-minded unity and self-reliance are the political idea and the fighting principle whose validity and vitality have been fully displayed in practice in the protracted and arduous Korean revolution.
The idea of further upholding the ideals of "The people are God", single-minded unity and self-reliance reflects our Party's fixed will to firmly defend and add luster to the proud history and traditions of the Juche revolution, says the editorial, and goes on:
Whereas the ideal of "The people are God" reflects our Party's consistent demand that the entire Party must hold fast to the revolutionary Party trait of regarding it as the starting point and absolute and invariable principle of its building and activities to serve the people, the ideals of single-hearted unity and self-reliance embody in a concentrated way the ideological and theoretical viewpoint and political requirements concerning the lifeline and motive force of our revolution.
"The people are God", single-minded unity and self-reliance are the fundamental key to enhancing our Party's leadership abilities and solidifying its mass foundation in every way. The ideals also serve as a prerequisite to fully demonstrating the irresistible might of our-style socialism and a fundamental guarantee for accelerating the rosy future of the country as early as possible.
We have no other option but to thoroughly embody the three ideals in order to achieve continuous progress of our-style socialism.
We must remain loyal to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un's politics based on the people-first doctrine.
The revolutionary traits of our people single-mindedly trusting and following the Party and virtues of our society should be fully displayed.
We should wage a death-defying campaign to fulfill the new five-year plan for national economic development without fail under the uplifted banner of self-reliance.
The editorial calls upon all the people to strive for our great Party, our great state and our great people, upholding the three ideals of "The people are God", single-minded unity and self-reliance. -0-
