Many people in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea are devoting themselves to prosperity of the country.
Jong Sun Ok, Manageress of the Moran Garment Factory in the capital Pyongyang, has been working in the garment industry field for more than 30 years.
While working as the manageress, in particular, she has invented and introduced tens of rational and efficient jigs including goffer and thus carried out the production plan ahead of schedule every year. She has also analyzed and assessed the tastes of people in the styles and kinds of clothes and made a lot of various clothes according to them. So she is loved by people.
She was always active in face-lifting the factory and improving the working and living conditions of the employees.
Her sincerity for the employees is mirrored on the modern bathroom and beauty parlour, the lighting lamps specially set up for the protection of the eyes of the women workers and the heating equipment in the workshops. It infused the employees with the attachment for and pride of their jobs and work places.
The state awarded her the title of Meritorious Person of Socialist Patriotism.
This title represents her devoted efforts for the improvement of the people's living.
