The respected
Kim Jong Un
received congratulatory messages and letters from different countries upon his election as General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea.
The messages and letters were sent by political party leaders of different countries including the General Secretary of the Union Solidarity and Development Party of Myanmar, the Chairperson of the Mongolian People's Party, the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Syria, the General Secretary of the Palestinian Popular Struggle Front, the Chairperson of the Homeland Party of Turkey, the Chairperson of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Azerbaijan, the Chairman of the Socialist Party of Romania, the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Switzerland, the General Secretary of the Mozambique Liberation Front Party, the General Secretary of the Socialist Party of Senegal, the General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of the Congo and the General Secretary of the Revolutionary Communist Party of Uruguay and the
Central Committee of the Marxist-Leninist Communist Party of Brazil and
the National Leadership of the March 26 Movement of Uruguay.
They also came from the International Secretary of the Communist Party of Serbia, the International Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the People of Spain, the Director of the European Regional Society for
the Study of the Juche Idea, the Secretary General of the International
Liaison Committee for the Reunification and Peace of Korea
and other high-ranking personages of political, public, economic and military circles in China, Russia, Nepal, Germany, Bulgaria, Belarus, South Africa, Libya, Brazil, Peru, Argentina and Australia and representatives of the Juche idea study organizations and the organizations for support to Korea's reunification and for friendship.
The messages and letters expressed the belief that the Korean people would achieve greater success in socialist construction by thoroughly implementing the decisions of the Eighth Congress of the WPK under the wise leadership of
Kim Jong Un
.
Meanwhile, the Central Committee of the WPK received a congratulatory message from the General Secretary of the Revolutionary Communist Party of France.
