Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), sent a congratulatory message to Nguyen Phu Trong, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), on February 1.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in his message extended warm congratulations and comradely greetings to Nguyen Phu Trong on the successful 13th Congress of the CPV and his reelection as general secretary of the C.C., CPV.
He said that it is the expression of the great trust and expectation of the leadership and all members of the CPV and the Vietnamese people for Nguyen Phu Trong that he assumed a heavy responsibility as the head of the CPV again as he has made devoted efforts to developing the party and the state over the long periods.
He hoped that the party and people of Vietnam would make a dynamic struggle for implementing the decisions made at the 13th Congress of the party under the guidance of the general secretary and thus register a new development in building a prosperous socialist state.
He was convinced that the friendly and cooperative relations between the two parties and two countries with long history and tradition would grow stronger in conformity with the spirit of the agreement that was made with the general secretary on March, 2019.
He sincerely wished the general secretary good health and bigger success in his responsible work for leading the party and the state.
