Artistes of Wangjaesan Art Troupe on Tour Gives First Performance at Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex

The song of march of self-reliance resounds far and wide, instilling confidence in victory and courage into the minds of the Korean people all out in the first year's struggle for carrying the new five-year plan to implement the decisions made at the 8th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea.
The artistes of the Wangjaesan Art Troupe, who started their performance tour, gave the first music and dance performance in Songrim on Feb. 20.
The house of culture at the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex, the venue of the performance, was overflowing with delight and excitement of the workers of the complex to see the performance by the artistes of the Wangjaesan Art Troupe, at their worksite.
Put on the stage of the performance that started with music "Song of Socialist Advance" were female chorus "Glory to General Kim Jong Un", dance "Fly, Our Tri-color National Flag", female trio "Our Marshal" and others.
Performers, through their excellent skills, gave a rich artistic description of the greatness of the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un. Dance "Smelters" impressively depicted the history and tradition of the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex which has taken the lead in devotedly upholding the cause of our Party with increased iron and steel production, greatly exciting the audience.
The audience hardened their iron will to firmly cement the steel pillar of the country by successfully carrying forward the traditions of patriotism and loyalty of the preceding generations. Put on the stage, full of self-confidence and pride of the Korean people, were colorful numbers including male solo "Ballad of Gold Mountains", mixed septet "My Prospering Country" and national dance "Janggochum", delighting the audience.
Mixed chorus "Along the Road of Socialism" and other songs were applauded by the audience as they added to patriotic enthusiasm of the workers, scientists and technicians of the complex for the revolution.
The performance reached its climax when song and dance "Cheers of the People" was put on the stage to reflect fervent enthusiasm and optimism of the people. After the performance, the audience congratulated the performers on their successful performance, presenting bouquets to them. The performance continues.
