The Korean people, who create their own style civilization, aspiring after new innovation, bold creation and steady progress, pleasantly spent their folk holiday Jongwoldaeborum (the fifteenth day of the first month by the lunar calendar).
Catering facilities in the capital city pleased citizens with different national dishes.
Okryu Restaurant, Chongryu Restaurant and others were full of citizens enjoying national dishes such as Pyongyang cold noodle, boiled rice admixed with four other staple cereals, mung-bean pancake and dishes made of nine kinds of dried edible herbs.
People enjoyed the holiday in Haeju City, Hamhung City and other cities.
They feasted their eyes on the full moon on Moran Hill and at other scenic spots, new streets representing socialist civilization and villages newly built in the areas hit by natural disasters.
Looking at the bright moon with the confidence in the new era when the ideal and desire for prosperity will come true, the people felt strong feelings of heartfelt thanks to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who makes an endless journey of devoted service for the people's wellbeing, and wished him good health.
