The messages and letters came from the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Nepal Communist Party(Marxist-Leninist), the General Secretary and the International Secretary of the Central Committee of the New Yugoslav Communist Party, the Central Committee of the Democratic Workers' Party of Spain, the Vice-General Secretary for the International Affairs of the Islamic Coalition Party of Iran, Co-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the

Foundation, the President of the International World Group of Italy, the Director General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, the Chairman of the Afro-Asian People' Solidarity Organization, and the Director General and the Deputy Director General of the International Institute of the Juche Idea. They also came from the leaders of political parties, and high-ranking political, public, economic and military officials
of different countries including China, Russia, Mongolia, Bangladesh, Syria,
Japan, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Belarus, France, Britain, Guinea,
Nigeria, South Africa, the United States, Mexico and Australia, representatives of the Juche idea study organizations and organizations for support to Korea's reunification and for friendship and representatives of international organizations in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
They stressed that the great leader
Kim Jong Il
firmly defended socialism with his gifted ideological and theoretical activities and original Songun-based leadership and performed distinguished exploits for the cause of global independence and he will remain alive in the hearts of the entire Korean people and mankind aspiring after peace, justice and unity.
Meanwhile, the Central Committee of the People's Party of Cambodia sent a message of greetings to the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
