Heartily captivated by the charisma and human love of a great man one boundlessly respects and follows him. It is the product of one’s truest and most ardent thoughts and feelings.

Chairman Kim Jong Il loved man most loftily and warmly. Nobody could excel him in it.

Therefore, the progressive personages and people of the world in all walks of life passionately revered and followed him, boundlessly fascinated with his charisma. They persevere in doing so still today.

Kim Jong Il brought numerous foreign aspirants after independence around and warmly loved them.

This still lingers on the memory of world.

When the Day of the Shining Star (February 16, the birthday of Kim Jong Il) approached several years ago, a letter was sent to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

It reads in part:

"I (Jindallae) have already enshrined the great leader General Kim Jong Il in my heart as my real father. My family and I will firmly stand by the brothers and sisters of Korea anywhere and celebrate the Day of the Shining Star together with the Day of the Sun (April 15) year by year."

The addressers were Mustafa Al Saphariny and his daughter named Jindallae Saphariny, the citizens of Palestine. The memory of Kim Jong Il is cherished deeply in their hearts.

In 1985 Mustafa Al Saphariny was stationed in Pyongyang as a diplomatic representative of Palestine to the DPRK. That year his wife had her disease treated in the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital and gave birth to a lovely daughter. This pleased her and her husband very much because she had been to all famous foreign hospitals and taken all super medicines without exception, but to no avail.

Saphariny and his wife decided to address a letter to Kim Jong Il and thank him for his benevolence from the bottom of their hearts.

In the letter they wrote that from antiquity it was the ways of Palestine for its people to visit the most learned and esteemed men after the birth of their children and have them named by them and accordingly implored Kim Jong Il to name their daughter.

Kim Jong Il was kind enough to name their daughter "Jindallae" at their request and what was more, give her many presents of hereditary value to wish her health and happiness.

Since then, Mustafa Al Saphariny had often been called "Jindallae's father" by diplomats instead of being addressed as a representative.

He took a great pride in it and frequently talked about the great charisma of Kim Jong Il because he boundlessly revered him for his fervent love for man.

One year Jindallae Saphariny addressed a congratulatory letter to Kim Jong Il and presented him with a photo album on the occasion of his birthday. In the letter she said sincerely that she was born in Pyongyang and spent her childhood there, that the DPRK was her second motherland and that he was her true father who helped toward her birth and brought her up with warm love.

There are also other examples of Kim Jong Il’s love.

In mid-November 1994 a foreigner by the name of Wail Baracat was seriously injured in the major internal organs in a sudden accident and fell into a critical condition. He was brought to a hospital by car.

He lay senseless and barely remained alive.

As a result, its longtime doctors did not dare to operate on him resolutely.

The mother of the patient, too, flew to Korea quite a distance from Egypt but gave him up as dead.

At this juncture, Kim Jong Il was informed by the officials concerned of this and saw to it that necessary measures were taken to rescue the patient from death although the DPRK seriously mourned over its great national loss.

Thanks to Kim Jong Il, competent doctors joined together to treat the patient and up-to-the-minute medical equipment and rare and precious medicines were used to this end.

The doctors did their utmost day and night to bring the patient back to life.

Consequently, a miracle was wrought.

The patient hovered between life and death for over a month but finally regained his sense. A small number of days after, he recovered completely from his injuries and left the hospital.

This was quite beyond imagination in capitalist countries. Therefore, Wail, his mother and other members of the Egyptian embassy were very grateful to Kim Jong Il for his solicitude.

Wail said with great emotion that he owed his rebirth in the DPRK to Kim Jong Il, had the blood of Korean comrades in his body and was going to change his name to a Korean one.

There are very great numbers of other stories of this sort.

Kim Jong Il learned that the birthdays of many foreign delegates to the 13th World Festival of Youth and Students would occur during the festival and saw to it that all of them were served with Korean dishes and their favorite ones as well on their birthdays. This was and has so far been without precedent in the history of the WFYS.

Kim Jong Il saw to it that all foreign visitors to our country were treated warmly, warmed their hearts with kind words, valued the relations he formed with them and retained them to the last.

As a result, he advanced ideas and theories of love for man and consistently pursued benevolent policies for man.

Therefore, the progressive mankind of the world passionately admires and lauds Kim Jong Il for his great personality century after century.
