Power producers countrywide fulfilled their plan for February working hard to execute the decisions of the 8th Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
The Pukchang Thermal Power Complex and the Pyongyang, Sunchon, Chongchongang and East Pyongyang Power Stations mobilized their reserves and potentials to the maximum and responsibly put their power-generating machines in full normal operation.
The workers and management of hydropower stations scientifically controlled their water, operated their machines and repaired and maintained them on a normal footing so as to increase their power output.
Those of the sector of the extractive industry carried out the plans for their important products for February.
Those of the Sangwon and Sunchon Cement Complexes and the Chonnaeri Cement Factory fulfilled the plans for the production of their cement for February.
Those of the railway sector executed their transport plan for February.
The Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill and the Sinuiju, Sariwon, Kusong and September Textile Mills topped the plans for the production of their spun yarn and ordinary cloth intensifying cooperation between processes and conducting a vigorous socialist emulation.
The Songyo, Aeguk and Hamhung Knitting Mills and other producers procured raw materials by tapping out their internal reserves and dynamically stepped up their production with the machines they managed with technological expertise.
The Wonsan Shoes Factory, the Pyongyang Footwear Factory, the Pyongyang Daily Necessities Factory, the Sinuiju and Pyongyang Cosmetics Factories, the Kanggye Pencil Factory, the Hamhung Disabled Soldiers’ Essential Plastic Goods Factory and many other light industry units made good arrangements for their production and directed it well, thereby topping their plans for February.
