The 11th Enlarged Plenary Meeting of the Seventh Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea, the 12th Enlarged Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea and the 11th Enlarged Plenary Meeting of the Sixth Central Committee of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea were held in the way of tele-conference on the 4th.
Present at the meetings were members and alternate members of the Central Committees of the Federation and the Unions.
Attending the meetings as on-line observers were officials of those organizations.
The meetings discussed issues on thoroughly carrying out the first-year tasks of the five-year plan presented at the Eighth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea and on waging a more intensive struggle against anti-socialist, non-socialist practices throughout the society.
Reports on the agenda items presented were made by Pak In Chol, Chairman of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea, Han Jong Hyok, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea, and Jang Chun Sil, Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea, which were followed by speeches.
Decisions were adopted at the meetings on the basis of the full discussions about the draft decisions presented to the full-dress meetings.
