Pyongyang, April 6 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun on Tuesday says in an article that to vigorously conduct the three revolutions - ideological, technical and cultural - in rural communities is an important way for remarkably increasing our own strength, our internal driving force, and accelerating the progress of the revolution.
It is the steadfast will of the Workers' Party of Korea to get rid of the distinctions between the working class and the peasants, between industry and agriculture and between towns and the countryside and build a comprehensively developed socialist state by stepping up the three revolutions - ideological, technical and cultural - in rural communities and thoroughly implementing the theses on the socialist rural question, the article says, and goes on:
It is the main goal of the ideological revolution to train all the agricultural workers to be genuine revolutionaries and patriotic peasants in rural communities who remain boundlessly faithful to the leader and have strong revolutionary faith, high class consciousness and noble moral traits, through ceaseless and intensive ideological education.
The experience gained in recent years by the units, which are standing in the van of the on-going drive, being honored with the titles of high-yield sub-workteam, workteam and farm, shows that when the agricultural workers make strenuous efforts out of the ideological readiness to defend socialism and revolution with increased cereal production, they can successfully attain the goal of grain production set by the Party despite any unfavorable conditions and circumstances.
It is possible to get rid of the distinctions between the agricultural work and the industrial work, free the agricultural workers from difficult and toilsome labor and decisively increase the agricultural production when technical revolution is dynamically waged in rural areas.
Amid the technical revolution, the technical skills of the agricultural workers will improve and the material and technical foundations of rural areas will be firmly consolidated.
It is necessary to prepare the agricultural workers as intelligent workers of a new era well versed in advanced farming technologies and turn the rural villages into beautiful and highly civilized socialist fairylands with peculiar regional characters, through the cultural revolution. -
