The following happened one October day in Juche 107 (2018) when the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un inspected the construction site of the Yangdok Hot Spring Resort.
Feasting his eyes on the outlet of gushing hot water for a good while, he held a cup of hot spring water before others, saying that we should have its taste as it would be used by our people.
He then immersed his hand in hot spring water with the temperature of over 80℃. Noting that the water is really very hot, he said, with a beaming smile on his face, that even eggs might be boiled in the water.
After going round several places of the construction site for hours to give important instructions for the project, he suddenly told his accompanying officials to go to the outlet to try boiling eggs there.
Looking at an official carefully putting eggs in the spring water, he asked a commanding officer of the Korean People’s Army how many minutes it would take to boil them.
Upon hearing his reply that the eggs would be done in 17 minutes, Kim Jong Un told him to boil them for 20 minutes and turned his eyes to his wrist watch.
Looking around the officials filled with excitement, he stressed the need to build an egg-boiling site here to bring pleasure to the people.
The egg-boiling site, the first of its kind, was built in the Yangdok Hot Spring Resort, thanks to the parental affection of Kim Jong Un.
