A joint seminar of the Russian political parties and organizations was held in Moscow on the 8th to mark the second anniversary of the respected
Kim Jong Un
's historic visit to the Russian Federation.
Present there were personages of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Union of Communist Parties-the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, the "United Russia" Party, the Party for Peace and
Unity, the Liberal Democratic Party, the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Orchestra of the 21st Century, the Academy of Sciences and the United Confederation
of Koreans in Russia, representatives of the organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people and the Juche Idea study organizations and the DPRK ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Russian Federation and staff members of his embassy.
Speakers said esteemed
Kim Jong Un
, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, visited the Russian Federation and met President Putin two years ago. They added that the friendly relations between the Russian Federation and the DPRK provided by the preceding leaders and developed for decades would be strengthened and developed onto a higher stage on the basis of the common understanding and agreement made by the supreme leaders of the two countries.
A statement was adopted at the seminar.
The statement said.
The friendly relationship between the Russian Federation and the DPRK has been constantly developed through generations under the deep concern of the supreme leaders of the two countries. The great leaders
Kim Il Sung
and
Kim Jong Il
had made a great contribution to the development of Russia-DPRK relations.
The friendship between Russia and the DPRK has a long history and the two countries have a common aspiration to build powerful countries, safeguard the geopolitical interests and national sovereignty and struggle against the imperialist pressure and interference in the internal affairs.
We support the efforts to put the friendly relations between the Russian Federation and the DPRK onto a higher stage of strategic partnership.
The statement expressed full support and solidarity to the Korean people in their struggle to carry out the decisions of the Eighth Congress of the WPK and smash all moves of the hostile forces.
