, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, received a congratulatory message from Zhyuganov, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, on the 15th on the occasion of the 109th birth anniversary of the great leader

The message said.
Kim Il Sung
,
a son faithful to his fatherland, wise leader and patriot, had devoted
his whole life to the future, independence and prosperity of socialist
Korea. Under his wise leadership, the Korean people have
persistently advanced along the road for building a righteous society, made
eye-opening successes in the fields of science, industry and culture and
put the national defence capacity on a new stage.
Today the working people of the DPRK, under the leadership of the WPK, are advancing
confidently along the road for implementing the behests of
Kim Il Sung
and
Kim Jong Il
and for building a prosperous society.
The message wished the Korean people greater success in socialist construction.
