The Japanese government stated Tok Islets as an "inherent part of Japan's territory" again in its 2021 diplomatic blue book.
The DPRK has already made it clear with undeniable historical facts and data that Tok Islets are an inalienable part of the Korean territory. It is the fact also recognized by the international community.
Japan, however, persistently insists on its "dominium over Tok Islets" without any scientific accuracy and lawfulness from the geographical, historical and legal point of view.
Such impudent territorial claim can never be construed as a behaviour stemming from a lack of understanding.
By establishing a "museum of territorial sovereignty" and authorizing the textbooks specifying "Japan's claim to Tok Islets", the Japanese authorities have openly instilled the twisted outlooks on history and territory and the idea of aggression into the minds of the Japanese people and their younger generations.
On the other hand, they are hell-bent on staging military drills for "recapturing islands" and beefing up the military muscle.
There is no guarantee that Japan, which dreams of reviving the past imperial and militaristic era when it earned notoriety for committing bloody massacres and plunder, would not launch full-scale continental aggression after reinvading the Korean peninsula under the pretext of restoring its "dominium over Tok Islets".
Japan's moves to seize Tok Islets constitute a dangerous act of provocation and war which is aimed at inventing a pretext for launching continental aggression.
Tok Islets are an inseparable part of the Korean territory recognized by history and international law.
It is an unwavering will of the Korean nation never to overlook any attempts to dare reverse this stark reality but to counter it with merciless reaction.
