A photo exhibition was held at the Chinese embassy in the DPRK on the 21st to commemorate the second anniversary of the meeting of Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, with Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and President of the People's Republic of China, on a visit to the DPRK.  Seen in the exhibition hall were photographs of the respected Kim Jong Un who performed the undying achievements for the strengthening and development of the DPRK-China friendship, the precious common wealth of the peoples of the two countries, together with Xi Jinping.  Invited to the exhibition were Kim Song Nam, Director of the International Department of the Central Committee of the WPK, and officials concerned.  Present there were Li Jinjun, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China, and staff members of his embassy.  Speeches were made at the exhibition.  Kim Song Nam said:  In the significant meeting with esteemed Xi Jinping, the respected Kim Jong Un expressed a will to wonderfully carry forward and develop the friendly relations between the two parties and two countries. He also confirmed once again the truth that the invincibility of the DPRK-China friendship lies in defending and developing socialism with concerted efforts.  Recently the world health crisis has been worsened and serious changes witnessed in the international and regional situation. In such circumstances, however, the leaders of the two parties are developing the relations of friendship and cooperation between the DPRK and China onto a new high stage while making close strategic understanding.  Kim Song Nam expressed the belief that the Chinese people would make good successes in their fresh efforts to comprehensively build a modernized socialist state and achieve prosperity of the Chinese nation under the leadership of the Party with General Secretary Xi Jinping as the core.  Ambassador Li Jinjun said General Secretary Xi Jinping's visit to the DPRK is of weighty significance in carrying forward the tradition and shaping the future of development of China-DPRK relations in the new era.  He said that both sides promoted in the past the constant development of the China-DPRK relations under the guidance of General Secretary Xi Jinping and General Secretary Kim Jong Un.   The Chinese side, together with the Korean side, would continue to implement the important common understanding of the top leaders of the two parties and two countries and develop the China-DPRK friendly relations onto a new stage and thus make an active contribution to the regional peace, stability, development and prosperity, he added.  The participants looked round the photographs.
